6 Passengers Taken to Hospitals After LA Metro Bus Strikes Pole

A Metro bus with passengers aboard struck a pole early Friday in the Studio City area of Los Angeles, injuring at least seven people.

The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Friday in the 3900 block of Lankershim Boulevard.

Six passengers were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

According to Metro, the bus driver was treated on site and released.

The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the cause of the crash.
