“To suppress free speech is a double wrong. It violates the rights of the hearer as well as those of the speaker. It is just as criminal to rob a man of his right to speak and hear as it would be to rob him of his money,” said Frederick Douglass.
Throughout history, the right of a citizen of the United States to speak their mind has been crucial in making America unique, or “great.”
But in our current political climate, these rights are being blocked, censored, deleted, or outright canceled.
And the speech police are not just coming after your Facebook page anymore. It’s gotten much bigger since the 2024 election season arrived.
- Current presidential candidates are being censored by big technology companies, reportedly for “policy violations.”
- Pro-life activists are being arrested and imprisoned because they expressed their speech in once free speech areas.
- The Freedom from Religion Foundation, which has legally stood for satanic monuments at government buildings, successfully pushed for the recent removal of a small town Christian-based children’s organization because, well, they were offended.
All of this is speech control, culture control, and manipulation of the world that we live in.
What used to be “fringe” elements of society are now able to come into your communities, your schools, your homes, and your local governments and tell you how you must live.
How is this spreading so quickly? Nefarious billionaires, big tech moguls, and lots and lots of money.
It can make you feel helpless, having such well-funded enemies challenging the beliefs you grew up with and the America you want to live in.
So what can you do?
Many Americans use social media and private search engines every day, not knowing the policies and rules they are subject to.
Rules set up to protect users against bad actors on the internet have now been weaponized to silence unwanted voices. People like you.
The violations crafted by the Google team are meant to protect against the following: counterfeit goods, dangerous products or services, enabling dishonest behavior ... to name a few. The ad recently removed by the former President’s team highlighted statements and policies of the Biden Administration. These “violations” are decided by an ungovernable body, in turn this body determines how citizens should think and feel. This same group of companies assumes customers, who are just another number to them, are not able to decipher information for themselves. In turn, they are the decider of what American voters are allowed to hear, bringing constitutionality into question.
Our country’s founding documents should not give companies the grounds to revoke the rights of the American people.
It is the responsibility and duty of technology companies to hold themselves to a higher standard. The standard must be high because these companies protect data, speech, and public opinion. It is imperative in this current climate that we give the power of speech back to the people. Your ability to speak and think what you want should be yours, not Google’s. That’s why I developed a plan to give people a chance to know their speech, information, and data is protected from the spying eyes and anti-American leanings of Gmail, Mailchimp, Zoom, and GoDaddy.
For four years I had a front row seat to history in the Trump White House. I witnessed the rise of the suppression of free speech, and I see it growing daily. In America today, if you don’t align with the narratives of #BigTech, #BigGov, and #BigMedia, you can land anywhere from Facebook jail to actual jail. This has to stop.
