A California personal trainer who often works with high school students was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor, according to the Oxnard Police Department.

Keith Dudley, 41, was arrested March 27 in the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old student from Moorpark High School in Ventura County.

Mr. Dudley frequently worked with students across Ventura County high schools as a personal trainer.

He was arrested for “lewd and lascivious acts with a minor” after investigators learned of allegations that he had sexually assaulted the 15-year-old, according to authorities.

Details have not been released, though police said there is currently “no indication that any of these acts occurred on school grounds or at any school-sanctioned events.”

Mr. Dudley was taken into police custody and booked at Ventura County Main Jail; he was released on $20,000 bail.

The Oxnard Police Department is investigating the incident and requests anyone with information to contact Detective Juan Morales at 805-385-3922.
