Average San Diego County Gas Price Less Than 8 Cents from Record High

SAN DIEGO—The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Nov. 18 for the ninth consecutive day, increasing a half-cent to $4.648.

The average price is within 7.7 cents of matching San Diego County’s record high of $4.725 set on Oct. 8, 2012.

The average price has increased 10.3 cents over the past nine days, including six-tenths of a cent Wednesday, according to figures from the American Automobile Association. and Oil Price Information Service. It is 7.1 cents more than one week ago, 20.5 cents higher than one month ago, and $1.50 greater than one year ago.
