Man Found Dead at Park in Los Angeles County

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif.—A 23-year-old foreign national who had recently traveled to the country was found dead Monday, July 2, in a Manhattan Beach park.

Officers were dispatched to Polliwog Park at 1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd. around 7 a.m. Monday regarding an unconscious man who was not breathing, according to the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

Manhattan Beach Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The cause of death will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner, which withheld the man’s name pending notification of relatives.
