LOS ANGELES—A man was taken into custody for allegedly stabbing his father and a woman Wednesday morning at a home in the neighborhood of Woodland Hills, authorities said.

Officers were dispatched about 8:40 a.m. to an “assault with a deadly weapon” call in the 24200 block of West Hatteras Street, according to the LAPD’s Media Relations Division.

“We had a male armed with a knife,” Officer Rosario Cervantes said.

The suspect allegedly attacked his father and a woman at the location, Ms. Cervantes said.

Paramedics transported one person, with moderate injuries, and two others, with serious to critical injuries, to a hospital, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

No further information was immediately available.
