Trump Calls on Congress to Pass SAVE America Act; SCOTUS Greenlights Trump’s Removal of Deportation Protections

President Donald Trump is calling on Congress to include the Save America Act in the bipartisan measure to improve housing affordability that passed both chambers this week.


The U.S. Supreme Court has backed a Trump administration move to strip deportation protections from some 350,000 Haitians and 6,000 Syrians. We break down what it means for the future of Temporary Protected Status laws.


Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin testified before the House Appropriations Committee, discussing his department’s hurdles of addressing illegal immigration in so-called sanctuary cities, which have laws that ban local law enforcement from cooperating with federal enforcement.
