Guest hosts alongside Michael Strahan will now become a thing of the past—Kelly Ripa is returning to “LIVE! With Kelly and Michael” on Tuesday.

The news was confirmed by Strahan on April 25, where he hosted with actress Shay Mitchell.

“Kelly [Ripa] had a scheduled day off to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary with her husband Mark,” said Strahan. “She is going to be back tomorrow, which we’re all excited about.”

Ripa hasn’t made an appearance on the show since April 20, the day after Strahan announced his impending departure to “Good Morning America” in September. An angry Ripa went to Turks and Caicos with her husband during the lapsed time.

The drama surrounding Strahan’s announcement has drawn opinions from other media personalities, including Oprah Winfrey and Regis Philbin, who expressed support for both Strahan and Ripa.

According to Deadline, Ripa is excited about her return. In a letter to her staff, the 45-year-old former soap actress thanked everyone for their support. 

“I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information,” Ripa said in an email to “LIVE!”on Friday. “Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me. We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning.”

Actresses Ana Gasteyer and Shay Mitchell and journalist Erin Andrews filled in for Ripa while she was on hiatus.
