Irvine Woman Killed in Freeway Motorcycle Crash

IRVINE, Calif.—A motorcyclist killed when her bike went over the right side of the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor (State Route 241) in Irvine was publicly identified on March 14.

Rochelle Bunnell was a 39-year-old Irvine resident, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.

The crash on the connector road between the Foothill/Eastern Corridor and Laguna Canyon Road (State Route 133) was reported just before 5 p.m. on March 13, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

The CHP diverted traffic away from the connector road and issued a SigAlert because of a fatal crash shortly before 5:30 p.m on Sunday.
