The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, is temporarily shuttering three of its popular rides beginning in July—the peak of its summer season—for several weeks for refurbishment.

California Adventure’s “Soarin’ Over the World” and “Toy Story Midway Mania” rides will be temporarily dark, along with Disneyland’s classic Monorail, after years of on-and-off malfunctions.

“Soarin’ Around the World” will be closed from July 5 to July 14, while the Disneyland Monorail will be closed on July 5 and “Toy Story Midway Mania” on July 17, according to the Disney Parks blog. The latter two rides will be closed until at least Aug. 8, according to the Disneyland website.

“Midway Mania” and “Soarin' Around the World” have remained two of California Adventure Park’s most frequented rides by park visitors, with average wait times for each often extending over 90 minutes during the summer season.

“Soarin‘ Around the World”—which was updated in 2016 from “Soarin’ Over California,” in which riders were “flown” over some of the Golden State’s scenic landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge—now traverses famous global landmarks in its airplane flyover ride.

The closures come after three additional Disneyland park rides were temporarily closed in June—“Alice in Wonderland,” “Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride,” and “Peter Pan’s Flight”—for general maintenance and upkeep.
