California has had a contentious relationship with the Trump Administration. On many issues, the state has sued the federal government and vice versa.

My guest today is Jim Lacy. Lacy is the co-author of the book “California’s War on Donald Trump.” He also authored the Politico best-seller “Taxifornia.” He’s served in the Reagon and Bush administration and is also publisher of the website California Political Review.
