Banks are accused of closing the accounts of people who supported President Donald Trump, pro-life advocates, and conservative groups that fell out of favor with the previous administration. The allegations are part of a government investigation on debanking, and suggest that major banks were targeting Americans over their political and religious views.

According to the report by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the policies did not exclusively affect conservatives. Some pro-abortion groups were also blocked from working with certain banks.

In this episode of Crossroads, we’ll discuss how this issue came about and how it developed under previous administrations.
