INGLEWOOD, Calif.—Two men were shot dead and three other men were wounded in a shooting in Inglewood, authorities said Oct. 8.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched at 4:39 p.m. Saturday to Manchester Boulevard at 11th Avenue, Dispatch Supervisor Melanie Flores told City News Service.
Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, according to a watch commander at the Inglewood Police Department. The ages and conditions of the wounded victims were not available, although Ms. Flores said they went to the same hospital.
Inglewood Police Sgt. F. Smith confirmed that all of the victims were men and said he was awaiting an update on their conditions.
News video from the scene showed a sedan with windows broken out and another bullet-ridden vehicle in a parking lot.
