Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner, Christina Sandera, has passed away at age 61. No cause of death has been provided.

Mr. Eastwood’s daughter Morgan Eastwood, 27, who just recently announced her marriage to Tanner Koopmans, paid tribute to Ms. Sandera in an Instagram story on July 21. On a wedding photo of herself and her husband with Mr. Eastwood and Ms. Sandera, she wrote, “A devastating loss for our whole family. Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad ... you will be greatly missed.”

Ms. Sandera had reportedly been in a romantic relationship with the actor and movie producer for more than a decade, after the couple were first reported together in 2014.

Mr. Eastwood, 94, said of his late partner in a statement, reported by The Hollywood Reporter and TheWrap on July 18, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.”

According to a spokesperson for Warner Bros., who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, no further information would be disclosed.

Despite their relatively private relationship, the couple made several public appearances, including at the premieres of 2018’s “The Mule” and “The 15:17 to Paris.”

They also appeared together at the 2015 Academy Awards, when the movie “American Sniper,” which was directed by Mr. Eastwood, received multiple nominations.

Ms. Sandera was reportedly an employee at Mr. Eastwood’s Mission Ranch hotel and restaurant in Carmel, California, at the time she and Mr. Eastwood started dating.

Just months after the news of their relationship emerged, Mr. Eastwood finalized his divorce from his wife of 17 years, Dina, a former journalist, with whom he had one daughter, Morgan.

Prior to Mr Eastwood’s marriage to Dina, he was married for more than 30 years to his first wife, Maggie Johnson.

The Hollywood veteran was in other long-term relationships with stuntwoman Roxanne Tunis, Oscar-nominated actress Sondra Locke, flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, as well as actress Frances Fisher, with whom he did four movies.

In addition to his career as an actor and movie producer, Mr. Eastwood served a brief stint in politics, serving as mayor of Carmel, California, from 1986 to 1988.

Mr. Eastwood, whose career spans more than six decades, is most famously known for his role as Inspector “Dirty Harry” Callahan, in which he appeared in five installments between 1971 to 1988.

His latest movie, the upcoming “Juror No. 2,” starring Kiefer Sutherland among others, is currently in production after it was temporarily suspended as a result of the 2023 Hollywood actors’ strikes. A release date has not yet been announced.

NTD reached out to Mr. Eastwood’s publicist for further comment on Ms. Sandera’s passing but didn’t hear back before publication time.
