McDonald’s is giving away free food on Thursdays to its app users residing in California, according to KTLA.

Customers can get a free item with a $1 purchase through “Deal Days,” a promotion that started on Feb. 15 and runs to March 29.

Each week, a different item is offered. Feb. 29 will feature Big Macs, and March 7 will offer free Happy Meals, for example.

Customers can also receive a one-time deal of $4 off any order of $4 or more when they download the app and join MyMcDonald’s Rewards.

An additional offer only in the McDonald’s app is a free medium fries with a $1 minimum purchase on Fridays through the rest of 2024.
