The United States and Israel are keeping up the pressure on the Iranian regime as Operation Epic Fury continues. And following talks with Iran, President Donald Trump says he’s now delaying strikes on the country’s power plants.

Spain has now closed its airspace to U.S. planes involved in Operation Epic Fury. Joining now to discuss the implications and possible U.S. response is former U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand and former Sen. Scott Brown.

TSA agents have started receiving paychecks today following a memorandum from the president. This is while the Department of Homeland Security is in the sixth week of a shutdown as Democrats oppose funding the department. Security lines at some airports are already showing signs of improvement. The White House is calling it “ridiculous” that action from the president was necessary in order to pay TSA employees, and is urging members of Congress to come back from their break to end the shutdown.

In the Supreme Court, the justices will hear oral arguments on Wednesday in one of the highest-profile cases of this term. It involves a challenge to Trump’s January 2025 executive order seeking to restrict birthright citizenship. Lower courts have paused the order, but the president immediately appealed it.

The White House updated the press today as to how the U.S. negotiations with Iran are going. Joining us to discuss the latest developments is Taylor Hathorn, visiting fellow at Independent Women.
