President Donald Trump today unveiled new deals with nine major drug companies, bringing the total to 14 of the 17 firms his administration targeted, as he pushes to slash U.S. prescription drug prices. The president also vowed to summon insurance executives next, aiming to force down premiums, while defending a recent uptick in unemployment as the result of the administration’s policies shrinking the federal workforce.

European leaders today agreed to loan Ukraine more than $100 billion from the European budget. This comes as new rounds of talks between Kyiv and Washington begin in the United States today.
