16 Iranian Mine-Laying Vessels Destroyed; White House Says Operation Will Lower Gas Prices Long-Term

The White House vows massive retaliation against Iran over the Strait of Hormuz. President Donald Trump announces new strikes on Iranian boats used to place mines in the key energy chokepoint, which carries one-fifth of the world’s crude oil.

America’s top military general says Iran’s ballistic missile attacks are down dramatically since the start of the war. The Pentagon added that Iran’s attacks on other Arab Gulf nations are making those countries strengthen their ties with the United States.

The Pentagon declares Tuesday the “most intense” day of strikes yet inside Iran, as the White House deems the Iranian navy “combat ineffective” with more than 50 vessels now at the bottom of the sea.

The United States has struck more than 5,000 Iranian targets since the start of Operation Epic Fury. Joining us to unpack the development. We have Joel Rayburn, senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, and Andrew Harding, national security analyst at the Heritage Foundation.

A federal alert sent to law enforcement agencies warns of an encrypted communication believed to have originated in Iran. It may have been intended to activate sleeper assets outside the country.
