At just 18 years old, entrepreneur Sulaiman Kaamil is already transforming the way students learn. From Istanbul, this Afghan immigrant founded SellNotes, now headquartered in Los Gatos, California in the Silicon Valley.  It is a platform that allows students to upload and sell their study materials—helping others learn while earning money themselves.

What began as a high school project has grown to more than 8,000 users across 70 countries. In this conversation, Sulaiman shares his journey—from losing his father in Afghanistan and immigrating to Turkey, to winning tech competitions and building a global company.
